The name Six Sins was created as a playful reference to the seven deadly sins, linking them to the familiar feelings experienced the morning after a night out. Many of these sins mirror common hangover symptoms — sloth representing tiredness and lack of motivation, gluttony reflecting cravings for comfort food, and so on. This connection gave the brand a relatable and humorous narrative rooted in shared experience. The concept is further reinforced by the six-pack format of the drink, which naturally tied into the name and strengthened the overall idea. Six Sins turns the negative side of excess into something fun, self-aware, and culturally relevant.

The packaging design for Six Sins draws directly from the Seven Deadly Sins concept, taking visual inspiration from gothic church architecture to create something dark, dramatic, and distinctive. This is reflected through sharp structural details, moody tones, and the brand’s staple stained-glass window motif, which becomes a central visual feature. Research showed that most drinks packaging relies on a standard box format, often blending into the background on shelves. To challenge this, the church-like silhouette was integrated into the box structure itself, transforming a familiar shape into something more expressive and eye-catching. The result is packaging that feels symbolic, bold, and impossible to ignore, while reinforcing the brand’s nightlife-focused identity.

A unique concept from this package was a glow in the dark call to action with a QR code to the SixSins website.

Six Sins is a conceptual brand project developed as a preventative hangover cure designed to be consumed during a night out rather than the day after. The product is positioned as a functional, grab-and-go drink formulated with electrolytes and recovery-focused ingredients to help reduce the effects of dehydration and fatigue caused by alcohol consumption.

The visual identity of Six Sins is heavily inspired by the bold, disruptive design language of Liquid Death Mountain Water, using high-contrast graphics, dark tones, and striking typography to create strong shelf and nightlife presence. The brand was developed to feel unapologetically bold, slightly rebellious, and visually suited to club and late-night environments rather than traditional wellness spaces. By embracing a darker, more provocative aesthetic, Six Sins positions itself as a hangover-prevention drink that feels natural within nightlife culture. The concept aims to be socially integrated, blurring the line between functional wellness and party culture, allowing the product to feel both purposeful and fun.
